Truly faith is the evidence of things hoped for. We are told to put on the full armor of God so that we can Stand against the wiles (lies, schemes, craftiness, trickery, deceitfulness, etc.) of the Devil. Notice we are not just to stand but to Stand against (meaning it is directed and intentional) our warfare must be intentional. All the armor is necessary, but there is an emphasis on verse 16, "Above all, take the shield of Faith, with which you shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked." (MKJV)
Jesus, speaking to Pharisees, said that the Devil was a murderer from the beginning and the father of Lies. He is the master liar and deceiver! My purpose for sharing this morning is to expose the deceitfulness of fear. Our enemy presents it to us every day in so many ways.

Holy Spirit, please come and examine us. Reveal and bring into light every fear we have agreed with. Help us to truly repent and come out of agreement with this wickedness. Fear is at the root of many sicknesses and illnesses. It's an open door for the enemy to access. Some would say we are trusting the Lord, but the fact is, many have agreed with the fear; in doing so, it still has access. Many fears believers have allowed are generational. Fear of some disease our parents or grandparents had. Other fears come when we are attacked by pain or symptoms in our bodies. Yes, we can have legit medical issues; however, many are brought on by fear and or acquiescence (meaning us not resisting and giving in)  The good news is we can overcome.

Pray with me, Holy Father in the Name of Jesus, we repent for agreeing with the lies and deception of the enemy, we repent for not standing against these lies and rejecting them. In the power of Your might, we pick up the Shield to Faith. We put all our faith and trust in You. We reject all lies, sickness, disease, illness, and fear. We receive the fullness of our inheritance and sons and daughters of the King. We say No to every attack and Yes to the Victory and the Provision of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. We cloth ourselves in the Victory of the completed work of the Cross. Thank You, Lord.
Be encouraged, saints. Put up your Shield of Faith and walk out your salvation with fear and trembling.

A Facebook “friend” has posted that “unity” is a common goal. In fact she has been adding this to every post she makes and I think she is trying to sell some sort of service with that statement being the “hook”. But what is unity? I am not sure I have ever laid eyes on unity. My parents rarely disagreed, but were they unified? I guess I would have to say, at least 90%. Psalm 133:1–2 KJV, says, "Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity! It is like the precious ointment upon the head, that ran down upon the beard, even Aaron's beard: that went down to the skirts of his garments;"

So we see that unity is good and pleasant. That seems obvious if you think about the opposite, chaos. Chaos is the state we end up devolving into without unity. Think about it. It’s the goal of Satan to bring chaos to God’s order. But why don’t we see more and stronger unity, even in the church? I think there are some good reasons I can think of off the top of my head. Political differences of opinion, even when there is a common goal, we don’t always agree on how to carry it out. I suppose, that the problem is, we have not laid down our lives to the service of Christ. When we do lay them down, we tend to pick them right back up when the first disagreement arises. Unity in the flesh is impossible to reach. So what is the answer? I think that the answer is to LIVE IN THE SPIRIT. Two people who are both surrendered to the Holy Spirit will be able to understand each other and will receive the help of the Spirit to become unified. Why is that? Because there is no division in the Spirit, no division between God the Father and God the Son and God the Holy Spirit, they are one, and Jesus prayer was that we become one as they are one (John 17:20-21). That is unity. What do you think?

This past weekend at the Spring Event, Pastor Greer mentioned that the world has three main systems. If you remember the 2nd and 3rd, please respond with what they are. I cannot quite remember. However, the first one was the political system. These systems are being used to bait and switch the people of God. This morning, I am thinking about mission success and mission critical, and I feel the Lord is saying Let's get back to basics.

The people of God have been sent on a mission from eternity to the now and have landed on Earth as a representative force for the King of Kings! But we have lost our memories and forgotten the mission. God sent His word to realign us with that mission. 2 Corinthians 5:20 says: "Now then, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ's stead, be ye reconciled to God."

That's some old English wording for, You are here to represent Christ, as an ambassador represents his or her king or government to reach the world. Paul goes on to say that God did beseech you, which means God is reaching out to the world through us! We speak then to the world—be reconciled to God!

The military focuses their mission on certain aspects which they call mission critical. These things become the benchmarks for their mission. For us, it is mission-critical to remember that our mission is the reconciliation of people to God. Each time we become TOO engaged in political aspects of daily life, we risk missing the critical part of that day's mission. We must be led by the Spirit into all things. Vote if He says to vote. Yes. And while you are in the balloting area perhaps be aware of someone who needs prayer and is open to the gospel. Perhaps someone of another political persuasion. I hope this encouraged you today! Love and Respect to all.

This Cookie Policy explains how The Elisha Company Ministries ("Company," "we," "us," and "our") uses cookies and similar technologies to recognize you when you visit our website at https://elishacompany.org ("Website"). It explains what these technologies are and why we use them, as well as your rights to control our use of them.

In some cases we may use cookies to collect personal information, or that becomes personal information if we combine it with other information.

What are cookies?

Cookies are small data files that are placed on your computer or mobile device when you visit a website. Cookies are widely used by website owners in order to make their websites work, or to work more efficiently, as well as to provide reporting information.

Cookies set by the website owner (in this case, The Elisha Company Ministries) are called "first-party cookies." Cookies set by parties other than the website owner are called "third-party cookies." Third-party cookies enable third-party features or functionality to be provided on or through the website (e.g., advertising, interactive content, and analytics). The parties that set these third-party cookies can recognize your computer both when it visits the website in question and also when it visits certain other websites.

Why do we use cookies?

We use first- and third-party cookies for several reasons. Some cookies are required for technical reasons in order for our Website to operate, and we refer to these as "essential" or "strictly necessary" cookies. Other cookies also enable us to track and target the interests of our users to enhance the experience on our Online Properties. Third parties serve cookies through our Website for advertising, analytics, and other purposes. This is described in more detail below.

How can I control cookies?

You have the right to decide whether to accept or reject cookies. You can exercise your cookie rights by setting your preferences in the Cookie Consent Manager. The Cookie Consent Manager allows you to select which categories of cookies you accept or reject. Essential cookies cannot be rejected as they are strictly necessary to provide you with services.

The Cookie Consent Manager can be found in the notification banner and on our Website. If you choose to reject cookies, you may still use our Website though your access to some functionality and areas of our Website may be restricted. What about other tracking technologies, like web beacons?

Cookies are not the only way to recognize or track visitors to a website. We may use other, similar technologies from time to time, like web beacons (sometimes called "tracking pixels" or "clear gifs"). These are tiny graphics files that contain a unique identifier that enables us to recognize when someone has visited our Website or opened an email including them. This allows us, for example, to monitor the traffic patterns of users from one page within a website to another, to deliver or communicate with cookies, to understand whether you have come to the website from an online advertisement displayed on a third-party website, to improve site performance, and to measure the success of email marketing campaigns. In many instances, these technologies are reliant on cookies to function properly, and so declining cookies will impair their functioning.

Do you use Flash cookies or Local Shared Objects?

Websites may also use so-called "Flash Cookies" (also known as Local Shared Objects or "LSOs") to, among other things, collect and store information about your use of our services, fraud prevention, and for other site operations.

If you do not want Flash Cookies stored on your computer, you can adjust the settings of your Flash player to block Flash Cookies storage using the tools contained in the Website Storage Settings Panel. You can also control Flash Cookies by going to the Global Storage Settings Panel and following the instructions (which may include instructions that explain, for example, how to delete existing Flash Cookies (referred to "information" on the Macromedia site), how to prevent Flash LSOs from being placed on your computer without your being asked, and (for Flash Player 8 and later) how to block Flash Cookies that are not being delivered by the operator of the page you are on at the time).

Please note that setting the Flash Player to restrict or limit acceptance of Flash Cookies may reduce or impede the functionality of some Flash applications, including, potentially, Flash applications used in connection with our services or online content.

Do you serve targeted advertising?

Third parties may serve cookies on your computer or mobile device to serve advertising through our Website. These companies may use information about your visits to this and other websites in order to provide relevant advertisements about goods and services that you may be interested in. They may also employ technology that is used to measure the effectiveness of advertisements. They can accomplish this by using cookies or web beacons to collect information about your visits to this and other sites in order to provide relevant advertisements about goods and services of potential interest to you. The information collected through this process does not enable us or them to identify your name, contact details, or other details that directly identify you unless you choose to provide these.
